Boom Pay, Inc. in Austin, TX is building an AI-first finance function to support growth to $20M ARR and beyond. As Controller, you’ll own accounting operations, automate the stack, and drive forward reconciliations, close, and financial reporting under GAAP.

Qualificações

• CPA or equivalent experience with ASC 606 compliance.
• 5-8 years progressive accounting experience in SaaS/tech.
• Experience leading or owning a financial close process.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation.
• Experience implementing accounting systems and integrations.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfortable in fast-paced high-growth environment.

Responsabilidades

• Own all accounting operations including monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage the general ledger ensuring GAAP and ASC 606 compliance.
• Oversee revenue recognition, contract setup, and billing data integration.
• Prepare for the first FY2026 audit.
• Design and deploy AI agents for A/R, A/P, and reconciliation workflows.
• Evaluate and maintain automation tools to improve close speed.
• Manage expense and card program operations with policy enforcement.
• Partner with CFO on system selection and FP&A tooling.
• Support scalable finance infrastructure as the business grows.
• Collaborate with RevOps, Finance, and Go-To-Market teams.
