Job summary

Trust & Will, the leading digital estate planning platform, seeks a Controller to guide our financial operations from Colorado. Reporting to the CFO, you will own accounting, month-end close, tax compliance, internal controls, and collaborate with FP&A to optimize financial systems.

You bring 10+ years in accounting, including leadership in high-growth environments, plus experience with AI-enabled processes, Ramp or Rillet, and a CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with leadership in high-growth settings.
• CPA preferred; strong financial reporting and controls.
• Experience applying AI/automation to accounting workflows.
• Experience designing internal controls for automated processes.
• Knowledge of Ramp and Rillet, plus spreadsheets tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting operations for Trust & Will and subsidiaries.
• Lead month-end close, tax compliance, and AP/AR.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to scale operations.
• Manage accounting tech stack with FP&A collaboration.
• Partner with CFO on cost analysis and strategic planning.
• Oversee vendor management and policy compliance.
