Job summary

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management seeks a Compliance Assistant to the Director of Compliance to oversee regulatory compliance across our affordable housing portfolio. This role partners with site teams to review files, certifications, and audits, while driving AI-enabled processes and RealPage implementations.

The ideal candidate will leverage extensive knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and Rural Housing programs to improve accuracy, reporting, and portfolio-wide compliance oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of affordable housing experience in compliance or operations.
• Strong knowledge of HUD Project-Based Section 8 requirements.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with Rural Development/Rural Housing programs.
• Experience reviewing resident files and certifications.
• Knowledge of annual and interim recertifications, income calculations, assets, deductions, and household eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor affordable housing file documentation and certifications.
• Identify compliance deficiencies and assist with corrective actions.
• Prepare properties for regulatory reviews and client audits.
• Support site teams with training, workflows, and AI-enabled processes.
• Assist the Director of Compliance with AI-driven compliance initiatives and RealPage integrations.
