Job summary

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support the Director of Compliance across our affordable housing portfolio. The role requires hands-on review of Section 8, LIHTC, and Rural Development files, and ongoing oversight of certifications.

You will leverage AI, automation, and RealPage to improve accuracy, reporting, and workflow, while coordinating with site teams to implement corrective actions and pass regulatory reviews.

Qualifications

• 3 years of affordable housing experience in compliance, property mgmt, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of HUD Project-Based Section 8 requirements.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit compliance.
• Working knowledge of Rural Development/Rural Housing programs.
• Experience reviewing resident files and certifications.
• Knowledge of annual and interim recertifications, income calculations, assets, deductions, and household eligibility.
• Experience with EIV and affordable housing verification requirements.
• Experience preparing properties for compliance audits and regulatory reviews.
• Strong working knowledge of RealPage software.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools and automation.
