Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to review LIHTC applications and ensure eligibility and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes accurate file reviews within 24 hours and adherence to policies.

Ideal candidates will have strong organization, excellent communication, and familiarity with RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software. Travel ~50% of the time is required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Solid computer literacy with RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software.
• Housing Credit Certified Professional certification is a plus; training within 2 years if not certified.
• HUD program knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with laws.
• Review files based on applicant information; complete reviews within 24 hours of receipt.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures in the personnel manual.
• Monitor changes in LIHTC regulations and implement modifications.
• Attend TDHCA trainings annually; complete HCCP training with passing score to obtain designation.
• Participate in all tax credit reviews by external entities.
• Travel approximately 50% of work time annually for property visits, conferences, or training.
