Job summary

Varonis is seeking a highly technical Competitive Intelligence Analyst to lead our CI program from New York or fully remote in the U.S. You’ll research competitors, pressure-test their claims, devise winning plays, and build scalable, self-serve insights for the field, including AI-assisted automation.

You’ll own deal support, create battlecards and playbooks, run quarterly win/loss analyses, connect insights to product marketing and roadmap, and maintain CompetiBot to surface accurate, sourced

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the cybersecurity market with data/identity/cloud security focus.
• 3+ years in sales engineering, field-facing CI, or product marketing/management.
• Strong technical foundation to break down complex systems into insight.
• Hands-on with AI agents and automation, eager to experiment.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into practical guidance for executives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deal Support: provide proactive, tailored competitive guidance to close deals.
• Content Creation: build battlecards, playbooks, kill sheets, and comparisons.
• Competitive Analysis: conduct quarterly win/loss analyses with product marketing.
• Competitive News & Questions: maintain market pulse and share timely, sourced analyses.
• AI-First Operating Model & CompetiBot Upkeep: own automated workflows and field-ready guidance.
