Job summary

Axos Bank seeks a senior leader for Commercial Banking Transformation to define the future operating model, analyze current processes, and design AI-enabled workflows. You will guide transformation pods, set roadmaps, and align business strategy with technology delivery across risk and compliance needs.

The role requires hands-on fluency with AI, platform ecosystems like Retool and n8n, and cross-functional collaboration with executives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; CS/Engineering or related field preferred.
7+ years across commercial banking, process transformation, product management and technology.
Product Owner or Technical Product Manager experience with Agile/Kanban delivery.
Working knowledge of agentic AI, automation, and risks in regulated environments (n8n, Retool or similar).
Technical understanding of architecture, APIs, integrations, ODS design, and modern software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the future Commercial Banking operating model with AI-enabled workflows.
Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows using agentic AI and automation.
Lead cross-functional transformation pods, prioritizing initiatives by value, feasibility, risk and capacity.
Serve as liaison between Commercial Banking and Banking IT; translate business strategy into tech requirements.
Drive change management, training, adoption, and executive reporting on KPIs and outcomes.
