Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced technologist to lead design, development and delivery on a medium to large product team. You will drive AI-forward development, ensure alignment with business and technical requirements, and mentor peers across development and architecture groups.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, debugging and leadership in a hybrid client-facing environment. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical design, development and debugging capabilities.
• 10+ years of applied software or platform engineering experience.
• Experience delivering software/platform engineering solutions and leading teams.
• CI/CD delivery using code/configuration management and automation tools (GitHub, ADO).
• Experience fine-tuning language models for tasks such as text generation and summarization.
• Knowledge of embedding models for NLP tasks and information retrieval.
• Experience with agentic AI systems combining models with tools/environments.
• Ability to design robust evaluation frameworks including A/B testing and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, delivery and maintenance of software solutions and infrastructure.
• Drive compliance with standards and foster AI-forward development practices.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching within cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering and Architecture to deliver leading solutions.
• Define processes and standards for technology, design and quality metrics.
