Job summary

EY is seeking a senior technical lead for a medium-to-large product team, driving design, development, delivery and maintenance of AI-enabled solutions. You will lead on complex coding tasks, ensure alignment with business and technical requirements, and push for high-quality, scalable outcomes.

You will mentor teams, establish standards, and apply modern CI/CD practices, while shaping AI model evaluation and deployment frameworks across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• More than 10 years applied experience
• Significant experience in software or platform engineering role
• CI/CD delivery using code management and automation tools such as GitHub, ADO
• Experience fine-tuning language models for NLP tasks
• Knowledge of embedding models for NLP tasks
• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and autonomous decision-making
• Ability to design evaluation frameworks including metrics, A/B testing, benchmarking

Responsibilities

• Solves complex and escalated aspects of a project, coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout development
• Provides advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency, reliability and value from current solutions and emerging technologies
• Develops strong working relationships with peers across Development & Engineering and Architecture teams
• Provides a leadership role for the work group to deliver the project
• Drives consistency to processes, standards, and technical design
