Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks a Brand Sales Strategist to define and bring to market strategic advertising solutions across Entertainment, Lifestyle and News. You will blend storytelling with data-driven insights to develop market-ready sponsorships and bespoke campaigns.

Collaborating with Ad Product, Sales, Editorial and Data Insights, you’ll champion AI-augmented workflows to ideate, model insights, and elevate pitches. You’ll translate platform data into clear commercial value.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of brand strategy, ad solutions, or content marketing experience within a major digital media publisher, agency, or technology platform.
• Track record of conceptualizing and packaging multi-channel digital ad programs (custom content, video, sponsorship integrations).
• Hands-on experience with digital audience analytics platforms (e.g., Comscore) and synthesis of 1st-party audience data into client narratives.
• Ability to manage complex strategic proposals from brief to pitch delivery and present to senior executives.
• Experience using modern generative AI tools to streamline research, ideation, or strategic writing.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with editorial, sales, and product partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement go-to-market strategies across sponsorships and multi-channel ad solutions.
• Represent the News Group in responses to RFPs/RFIs with clear, visual pitch materials.
• Collaborate across Editorial, Product, and Commerce to execute integrated programs.
• Identify market trends and emerging technologies to inform partner strategies.
