Qualifications

• 5-7 years of brand strategy or ad solutions experience within a major digital media publisher, agency, or tech platform.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and package multi-channel digital ad programs (custom content, video, sponsorships).
• Hands-on experience with digital audience analytics platforms (e.g., Comscore) and synthesizing 1st-party data into client narratives.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex strategic proposals from brief to pitch, securing internal buy-in.
• Experience using modern generative AI tools to streamline research, ideation, or writing.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with editorial, sales, and product partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for editorial sponsorships and branded content across channels.
• Represent Yahoo News Group in RFPs and RFIs with clear, visual pitch materials.
• Collaborate with Editorial, Product, and Commerce to execute integrated programs.
• Identify market trends and emerging tech to align with client needs.
• Partner with Sales to support pitch, campaign execution, and renewal.
• Combine storytelling with data to drive KPI-aligned recommendations and outcomes.
