Job summary

Apono is expanding its Go-To-Market team and seeking an entry-level Sales Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting across calls, email, and LinkedIn. You will use AI-driven tools to engage prospects and qualify leads for the Account Executive team.

This hybrid role is based out of Austin, TX or New York, NY, welcoming recent graduates and career changers. You’ll receive coaching-first onboarding and playbooks to build foundational SaaS and cloud security skills.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no prior sales experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn about SaaS and enterprise sales cycles
• Comfort with using CRM and sales tools

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting across calls, email, and LinkedIn to generate opportunities
• Leverage AI-driven sales tools to engage prospects
• Qualify inbound/outbound leads against defined criteria
• Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings for the Account Executive team
• Represent the company at industry events
• Maintain accurate CRM records
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging
• Participate in ongoing coaching and enablement
