Job summary

Life Science Connect is seeking an Audience Growth & Event Sales Associate to drive attendee and exhibitor growth for our precision medicine events. You will leverage AI-powered prospecting, outbound campaigns, and CRM data to identify opportunities, build conversations, and convert prospects into registrations.

This role combines sales, technology, and live events, with travel to support on-site activities. Experience in conferences or events and comfort with outbound outreach are essential.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of inside or outbound sales experience, preferably in conferences or events.
• Familiarity with life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, academia, research, or startups is a plus.
• Strong communication skills by phone and email, with a professional presence.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI and AI-assisted sales tools, plus CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Convert warm leads, past participants, and inquiries into paid registrations.
• Identify department leaders and buyers, present group ticket packages, secure registrations.
• Build value-driven conversations with senior contacts and targeted accounts.
• Sell exhibition packages and show opportunities aligned with prospect needs.
• Close sales by phone and email using promotions and deadlines.
• Maintain contacts, outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline in the CRM.
• Travel occasionally to support events and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
