FreedomPay seeks an Associate Site Reliability Engineer to maintain availability, performance, and reliability of our global payment platform. You will work with engineers to monitor health, automate tasks, and build intelligent operational workflows with AI-assisted tools.

The role emphasizes learning, automation, and hands-on exposure to modern observability platforms, cloud technologies, and incident response processes, with on-call mentorship from senior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent.
• 1–3 years of technical experience in software engineering, cloud operations, or DevOps.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, scripting, or cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn FreedomPay's platform and application ecosystem.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability into products.
• Implement AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting and automation development.
• Improve monitoring through alert tuning and dashboard enhancements.
• Automate workflows to reduce manual operational effort.
• Investigate alerts to identify root causes with senior engineers.
