Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Desktop UI Developer to lead a greenfield project, bringing Circuit to the desktop with a native-grade experience on macOS and Windows.

You’ll bridge web UI expertise (Angular, TypeScript, Node.js) to a desktop shell, focusing on performance, reliability, and native OS integrations. You will own the end‑to‑end desktop lifecycle, packaging, and automated updates, collaborating with UX, backend, and platform teams in an Agile setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years in computer science or related field.
• Frontend/UI expertise with Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Experience building secure production desktop apps for macOS/Windows (Electron or Tauri).
• Experience with cross‑platform packaging, code signing, and auto‑updates.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain Circuit Desktop for macOS and Windows with Electron or Tauri.
• Implement desktop features: system tray, notifications, deep linking, offline storage, auto‑updates.
• Integrate with REST APIs and Node.js services, reuse web design systems on desktop.
• Ensure WCAG accessibility and performance optimizations.
