Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a UI Developer for the Circuit team to craft modern web interfaces that expose AI capabilities to thousands of Cisco employees.

You’ll own the frontend for AI‑driven workflows, including chat, agents, streaming responses, and dashboards, built with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. You will work with UX designers to turn Figma designs into pixel‑accurate components, integrate with REST APIs, and deploy on Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of related experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and troubleshooting web apps using Angular, with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Hands-on server-side functionality with Node.js and REST APIs.
• Translate Figma designs into component-based UI aligned with a design system.
• Experience deploying on Google Cloud Platform and using Git in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications for AI-driven features (chat, agents, streaming) using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Partner with UX designers to translate Figma designs into functional, accessible experiences while maintaining design-system fidelity.
• Integrate front-end apps with REST APIs and JSON, and build Node.js services/BFF layers for secure client-server communication.
• Build, package, and deploy front ends and Node.js services on Google Cloud Platform, contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain reusable UI libraries aligned with Circuit’s design system for consistency and accessibility.
• Collaborate in an Agile team to scope, estimate, deliver features, and debug UI issues in dev and prod.
