Job summary

3E is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (AI) to lead engineering-embedded delivery across multiple programs. You will translate product intent into executable work, build AI-enabled delivery systems, and drive faster, higher-quality outcomes through automation and governance.

The role reports to the AI Delivery Team Lead and requires strong cross-team collaboration. Remote-friendly with preferred proximity to US East Coast offices (Bethesda, MD; Canton, OH; Charlottesville, VA);

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex software delivery across multiple teams and programs.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models and flow metrics.
• Technical fluency across SDLC, CI/CD, and production support.
• Hands-on with AI tools, automation, or data-driven workflows to improve delivery.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs and apply sound judgment.
• Experience leading change and driving accountability in evolving environments.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Operations.
• Located in US Eastern Time Zone and able to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate product intent into actionable, testable work with readiness checks and automation.
• Strengthen traceability across requirements, tests, releases, and deployments.
• Own program-level delivery outcomes: lead time, quality, predictability, risks, and release readiness.
• Identify cross-program dependencies and drive risks to resolution.
• Create and use delivery metrics to inform scope, timelines, and trade-offs.
• Forecast using data and AI insights to anticipate risks and improve decisions.
• Embed governance into release-readiness processes and delivery tooling.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Operations to scale practices.
• Lead organizational changes in tools, processes, and ways of working.
