Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Microsoft Purview & AI Data Security Architect to lead client advisory engagements and service delivery, focusing on data protection, compliance, and secure adoption of cloud and AI technologies.

You will guide governance, classification, and security controls across Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, Defender, and related technologies while coordinating with cross-functional teams and client executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, data governance, data protection, and compliance with a strong Microsoft cloud focus.
• 3+ years designing or architecting data protection, information protection, DLP, or related security capabilities.
• 2+ years leading technical discovery, architecture, or governance workstreams; consulting experience preferred.
• Experience translating governance, privacy, and compliance into technical controls for regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead client advisory engagements and service delivery for Microsoft Purview and related security solutions.
• Develop practical roadmaps, governance frameworks, controls, and remediation plans.
• Translate governance and compliance needs into scalable Microsoft-based solutions.
• Lead delivery teams and coach consultants; socialise current knowledge of capabilities and regulations.
