Job summary

Howard University seeks a Program Coordinator, Industry-aligned Initiatives, to provide administrative and programmatic support for CADSA, focusing on industry AI, data science, and analytics partnerships. You will support seed/minigrant programs, student engagement, workshops, and partnerships, ensuring proper execution, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of administrative or program coordination experience.
• Experience in higher education, workforce development, or industry partnerships preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate seed and mini-grant programs, including submissions, reviews, awards, and compliance.
• Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables; compile reports.
• Support industry-aligned curriculum initiatives and faculty mini-grants.
• Coordinate workshops, trainings, and engagement activities.
• Organize research showcases, symposia, and faculty development sessions.
• Provide meeting support: agendas, minutes, action tracking.
• Maintain budgets, procurement, and financial records.
• Liaise across CADSA, academic units, and partners.
