Howard University is seeking a Program/Administrative Coordinator for the Center for Applied Data Science and Analytics (CADSA). This role provides key administrative and programmatic support, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to strategic initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $58,000-$68,000.
The Center for Applied Data Science and Analytics (CADSA) facilitates interdisciplinary programs in data science, analytics, and AI; collaborates with campus institutes and centers; expands research funding; and develops links with corporations and government agencies for internships and placements. CADSA works with faculty, students, staff, and external partners to address complex societal challenges through ethical and applied data practices.
The purpose of this position is to serve as the Program/Administrative Coordinator, providing key administrative and programmatic support to CADSA, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, and contributing to the center’s strategic initiatives.
Has responsibility or authority that is limited to the direction of students or temporary workers. Verify timecard entry for student worker(s).
Serve as the Program/Administrative Coordinator and interface with internal contacts, including CADSA leadership, faculty, students, and staff across the university, and external contacts, including vendors, alumni, partners from industry, government agencies, funding organizations, and the public.
Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in academic or nonprofit settings. Up to 10 years of directly related work experience may be substituted for educational qualifications. Prior experience supporting a university center or research unit is a plus.
