Job summary

Fisher Phillips seeks a Manager, AI and Data Governance Operations to coordinate governance across Innovation, IT, Security, Privacy, and General Counsel. You will lead information governance, privacy compliance activities, and collaborate with business owners to ensure data fitness for AI use.

The role requires broad cross-functional coordination, development of governance standards, and hands-on assessment leadership to support responsible AI adoption and information lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of information governance, data governance, information protection, or related tech operations experience.
• Experience translating IG requirements into practical processes and working with IT on controls.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI services, data flows, access models, and lifecycle risks.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews and managing staff or ops work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AI governance procedures and policy updates with owners and document responsibilities.
• Coordinate reviews of AI tools, integrations, and material changes and consolidate findings.
• Engage stakeholders early to identify requirements and align reviews with project priorities.
• Define remediation owners, dates, and track progress until closure.
• Document requirements and accountable owners with GC and specialists; rely on functions for assessments.
