Job summary

Fisher Phillips seeks a Manager, AI and Data Governance Operations to coordinate AI governance, data lifecycle standards, and information protection across Innovation, IT, Security, Privacy, and General Counsel. You will lead assessments, document ownership, and remediation with a focus on responsible AI adoption in a complex, professional services environment.

You will manage IG staff, align governance with firm policies, and drive consistent review processes while supporting client inquiries

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, Technology or related field
• Five+ years of progressive experience in information governance or data governance
• Experience translating IG requirements into practical processes with IT
• Knowledge of enterprise AI services, data flows, access models and lifecycle risks
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews and staff management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AI governance procedures and policy updates with functional owners
• Coordinate reviews of AI tools, connectors, agents, integrations and changes
• Engage stakeholders early to identify requirements and align review timelines
• Track remediation progress and elevate unresolved findings
• Document requirements and accountable owners with General Counsel and specialists
• Develop reusable review criteria for timely assessments
• Manage IG staff and perform assessments and evidence reviews
• Coordinate governance evidence for client inquiries and audits
• Monitor governance developments and propose updates
• Support implementation by resolving information governance requirements
