Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Data Engineer to build and deploy data solutions that enable AI, ML, and enterprise analytics. You will translate data stories into scalable pipelines, applying governance, security, and quality controls while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in STEM, 6+ years of related experience, and hands-on experience with Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks, Terraform, and API design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Six years of related software/data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions and ensure data quality.
• Design data solutions and analyze data sources for value.
• Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users.
• Test data movement, transformations, and data components.
• Perform data/system analysis and resolve defects.
