Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Leader of Turnover, Startup & Commissioning for its AI Data Center portfolio. You will lead turnover, startup, energization, and commissioning activities, establish strategies, and ensure safe, efficient progression from construction to turnover for critical data-center systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in turnover, startup, commissioning for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and system documentation; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement turnover, startup, and commissioning strategies across projects and regions.
• Lead systemization, boundary development, and readiness planning aligned with schedules.
• Provide oversight for construction completion, walkdowns, punchlists, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Establish readiness criteria and stage-gate requirements for progression from construction to turnover.
• Coordinate activities among Construction, Engineering, OEMs, trade partners, and client stakeholders.
• Drive standardized turnover packages, documentation, and digital workflows.
