Jacobs is seeking a Leader of Turnover, Startup & Commissioning to guide turnover, startup, energization, and commissioning for our AI Data Center portfolio. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in turnover, startup, commissioning on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of systems-based turnover, startup, energization, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to read construction drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and control documentation.
• Willingness to travel to project locations; OSHA 30 certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement turnover, startup, and commissioning strategies, standards, and plans across projects and regions.
• Lead systemization, turnover sequencing, and commissioning readiness planning with schedules.
• Provide leadership for walkdowns, punchlists, testing, startup, energization, and integrated systems testing.
• Establish readiness criteria and stage-gate requirements through turnover and commissioning.
• Coordinate activities among Construction, Engineering, OEMs, trade partners, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure testing, documentation, and turnover records are complete and accessible.
• Drive standardized turnover packages, commissioning docs, workflows, and digital tools.
• Provide technical leadership in drawings, system architecture, controls, and commissioning requirements.
• Identify issues and lead cross-functional resolution to protect safety, quality and schedule.
• Develop organizational capability through leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
