Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Leader of Turnover, Startup & Commissioning for its AI Data Center portfolio. You will provide leadership, technical direction, and oversight for turnover, startup, energization, and commissioning activities across projects to ensure safe, efficient progression from construction to client handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• 12+ years in turnover, startup, commissioning, or similar on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of systems-based construction completion, turnover, startup, energization, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to read drawings (SLDs, P&IDs, schematics) and interpret control documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop turnover, startup, and commissioning strategies and plans across projects and regions.
• Lead systemization, turnover sequencing, and readiness planning aligned with master schedules.
• Provide oversight for walkdowns, punchlists, testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Establish stage-gate criteria for progression from construction through turnover and client acceptance.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, OEMs, trade partners, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation and turnover records are complete and accessible.
• Drive standardized turnover packages and digital workflows across the portfolio.
• Mentor teams and drive continuous improvement in turnover methodologies.
