Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Business Data Analytics intern to support AI-powered knowledge and automation tools. You will help design, test, and refine systems that let colleagues access and use organizational data effectively.

You will collaborate with teams to build AI-driven solutions using Snowflake, Power BI, and Python, while contributing to training materials and adoption efforts. The role is hybrid in Portland, OR, with potential for future full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher or recently graduated within 1 year of start date.
• Pursuing a degree in CS, Data Science, Math, Statistics, IT, BI, Analytics, or related field.
• Experience with Python data analysis libraries and building scripts or apps.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML solutions or generative AI tools.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and Snowflake or similar.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of data structures, data management, and data engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and improve tools that enable employees to search, access, and interact with organizational data.
• Assist in building and enhancing generative AI applications to summarize information and automate processes.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate needs into structured data solutions using Snowflake.
• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and adoption efforts for AI, analytics, and automation.
