Job summary
athenahealth is seeking a Product Manager for the AI Concierge to own the product direction of the onboarding experiences and agent handoffs. You will work with engineering and design to translate customer needs into executable requirements, ensuring grounded, reliable AI interactions and a seamless escalation path when human intervention is needed.
You will stay close to customers, iterate quickly, and partner with GTM, support, and customer teams to enable adoption and scale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–10 years of product management in an agile environment.
- Experience in healthcare or health IT.
- Experience with AI/LLM-enabled products and onboarding workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the product direction for the AI Concierge and onboarding experiences.
- Define what Concierge handles vs. routes or escalates to a person.
- Specify what customer/context the Concierge should remember or carry forward.
- Ensure safe, grounded behavior and graceful recovery from bad answers.
- Stay close to customers and iterate quickly based on feedback.
- Collaborate with Experience Design and engineering to shape requirements.
