Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Distinguished Engineer to lead storage strategy for AI Cloud across Neocloud and CSP ecosystems. You will architect high-performance file, object, and block storage for exabyte-scale workloads, stay hands-on, and guide open-source initiatives while partnering with training, inference, and security teams.

The role demands deep system programming in C/C++, Python, and other languages, plus experience integrating AI tooling to accelerate storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• 18+ years of practical engineering experience in storage tech for exabyte-scale workloads.
• Experience with high-performance parallel file systems and object/block storage.
• Hands-on coding and deep knowledge of systems programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year AI Cloud Storage architecture across NCPs with measurable SLOs.
• Define production-ready storage durability/availability targets (9s).
• Collaborate with training/inference teams, SREs, and cloud partners.
• Mentor engineers and represent NVIDIA externally in standards/open-source forums.
