Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking a Senior AI Storage Infrastructure Engineer to build the data-delivery fabric for its AI-native NeoCloud. You will architect high-performance storage for large-scale training and inference, spanning NVMe caching, parallel file systems, and Kubernetes orchestration.

The role emphasizes CSI driver design, GDS integrations, and storage policy definitions, with mentoring responsibilities to uphold reliability and scale in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of distributed storage systems experience.
• Expertise in Kubernetes CSI and storage operators.
• Linux kernel I/O and performance tuning experience.
• Knowledge of RDMA/InfiniBand/RoCE and storage integration.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible automation.
• Excellent technical communication and cross-functional influence.
• Experience in high-velocity, high-growth engineering environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain CSI drivers for high-performance parallel file systems.
• Implement GDS integrations for DMA between NVMe and GPU memory.
• Develop local NVMe caching for large model weights and datasets.
• Optimize IOPS, throughput, and latency across the storage stack.
• Collaborate with GPU Systems & Fabric team for RDMA interconnects.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for storage performance.
• Define storage policies, quotas, and multi-tenancy in Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers and lead architectural design reviews.
