Job summary
University of Michigan’s Ross IT Department seeks a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technology, focusing on AI, automation, analytics, and innovative solutions. You will work with developers, PMs, architects, and security teams to deliver secure, sustainable improvements aligned with institutional priorities.
The role is hybrid, based in Ann Arbor, MI, requiring three days on site weekly, with visa sponsorship not available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics or related field.
- Experience documenting requirements using user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, data analysis, and project management activities for AI, automation, analytics, and new tech solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to define scope, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate AI outputs against requirements.
