Job summary
MaintainX is building an AI-powered developer tooling platform and seeks a Software Development Manager to lead the AI Builder Tools team. You will guide platform engineers to improve agentic SDLC workflows, enabling autonomous coding agents that take tickets and open PRs with minimal hand-holding.
You will mentor developers, shape design and tooling, and partner with leadership to scale a world-class platform engineering organization in a fast-growing environment.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Development management experience leading platform, DevEx, or infra teams.
- Strong foundation in developer tooling, CI/CD, containerization, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with LLM agent frameworks or agentic coding infrastructure.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the AI Builder Tools team to advance Hold the team’s agentic SDLC platform.
- Drive delivery, quality, and innovation on autonomous coding agents and tooling.
- Collaborate with Engineering Leadership and Platform teams to scope and deliver infra for agents.
- Mentor developers and grow skills in agent frameworks and platform engineering.
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and support goal achievement.
- Ensure strong CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, observability, and agent orchestration.
- Provide visibility into impact, progress and risks to senior leadership.
