Job summary

MaintainX, now part of Autodesk, seeks a Software Development Manager to lead the AI Builder Tools team focused on making MX engineers more productive through agentic tooling across the software development lifecycle. You will guide autonomous coding agents that can take a ticket, implement changes, and submit a PR with minimal hand-holding.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Development management experience.
• Strong technical foundation in developer tooling, CI/CD, containerization, and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and experience hiring/coaching diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of platform engineers delivering agentic SDLC capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to scope and deliver autonomous coding agents infrastructure.
• Mentor developers in agent frameworks, tooling, and platform engineering best practices.
• Set expectations, give regular feedback, and support the team in achieving goals.
• Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, observability, and agent orchestration.
