Job summary

Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the AI Backbone initiative, coordinating planning, governance, and cross-team execution to enable scalable AI capabilities across the enterprise.

The role requires deep program leadership, executive presence, and the ability to influence across engineering, data, security, architecture, and business units. Hybrid work model with onsite days is offered across multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 12+ years of technical program management, enterprise transformation, or implementation consulting experience, including 5+ years leading multi-organization, multi-year technology programs in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise platform, shared-services, or foundational capability program with adoption across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the multi-year AI Backbone roadmap (Now/Next/Later) and sequence work across shared capabilities and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional planning and governance across GDS, GCS, ED&DS, Enterprise Architecture, and lighthouse teams.
• Coordinate strategic technology partners (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure) for evaluation, commitment, and scale-out decisions.
• Drive adoption of shared AI capabilities, patterns, and production-readiness standards across teams.
• Manage risk across identity, governance, model risk, data access, security, and cost with executives.
