Job summary

Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead architecture across Enterprise Engineering Platforms, including AI backbone, cloud delivery, data, and governance.

This senior technical partner drives target-state direction, ensures reusable platform patterns, and aligns cross-portfolio decisions with enterprise strategy. You will guide governance, mentor portfolio architects, and interact with executives to frame credible narratives and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven success leading architecture across multiple technology portfolios or enterprise platforms.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud architecture, platform engineering, software delivery, distributed systems, security.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise AI governance, data and observability.
• Ability to translate strategy into target architectures, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and architects across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce architecture decision records.
• Ability to simplify complex systems and drive aligned decisions.
• Experience developing reusable enterprise patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture, principles, roadmaps, and decision framework for Enterprise Engineering Platforms.
• Provide architecture leadership for Enterprise AI Backbone and GDS Night Shift.
• Integrate software delivery, cloud, runtimes, data products, and AI capabilities into CloudForge.
• Identify cross-portfolio dependencies and drive decisions optimizing enterprise outcomes.
• Establish reusable patterns and guardrails meeting security, resiliency, compliance and data needs.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, business tech, Product, Engineering and vendors to align investments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies with measurable outcomes and explicit risk tradeoffs.
• Guide architecture governance and translate decisions into funded roadmaps and deliverables.
• Coach portfolio architects and engineers to raise capability across teams.
• Represent Enterprise Engineering Platforms in executive and external forums.
