Job summary

WelbeHealth, LLC. is seeking an AI Business Automation Project Manager in Health Plan Services to drive automated solutions across eligibility and reconciliation workflows.

You will lead cross-functional projects, design AI agents, and translate business needs into practical technology solutions that reduce manual work and improve accuracy. The role combines healthcare operations with hands-on AI development, partnering with technical teams and vendors to deliver high-value automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred; PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare systems.
• Experience in a regulated healthcare environment; health plan operations, eligibility, enrollment, or reconciliation systems preferred.
• Comfortable exploring, designing, and building AI agents or automation workflows using AI platforms; focus on practical business use cases.
• Experience working with business owners to gather, document, and translate operational requirements into AI solutions.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to prototype, test, and improve AI agents or workflows; coding experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects to successful implementation within Health Plan Services across multiple teams.
• Lead projects to implement systems, tools, and technology for eligibility, enrollment, and reconciliation processes.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation workflows to reduce manual work.
• Partner with business owners to translate requirements into automation opportunities and set expectations.
• Document project logic to ensure maintainability and governance over time.
• Track status, escalate issues, manage resources, and motivate the team to deliver.
