Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Process Automation & AI Program Manager to translate business strategy into AI-enabled solutions. This on-site role can be based in Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA, and requires leading AI initiatives from concept through implementation with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include managing project plans, timelines, stakeholder engagement, and change management to accelerate responsible AI adoption while delivering measurable business value and efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 10 years of experience in business process improvement, project/program management, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge of change management and user adoption strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand workflows across the department and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience.
• Oversee AI-related initiatives from concept to implementation with clear plans and timelines.
• Foster awareness and adoption of AI-enabled solutions through training and communication.
• Coordinate with business, operations, technology, and AI teams to drive value.
• Ensure projects deliver measurable operational efficiencies and improved client experience.
• Maintain risk awareness and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
