Job summary

IDC is seeking a Partner Operations & AI Automation Co-op/Intern in New York. You will design agentic workflows, automate partner qualification and intelligence, and work directly with senior leaders including the SVP of Product & Strategy and the CEO office.

This hands-on role blends AI tooling, data tasks, and strategic partnership initiatives in a fast-paced setting. The position offers 6 months full-time, hybrid work from NYC with some in-person meetings and a $35/hour compensation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a graduate degree in CS/IS/Data Science or related field.
• Hands-on AI proficiency with agentic workflows or automations.
• Ability to demo and explain an AI automation you’ve built.
• Familiarity with Python and SQL or quick learner.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Startup-style, self-directed, proactive work approach.
• Experience collaborating with executives or senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows using Claude and AI tools for partner ops and pipeline management.
• Build automated partner intelligence workflows monitoring signals, moves, and market data for key partners.
• Support automation of partnership qualification with a rules-based scoring layer.
• Support automation of partnership development workflows with repeatable processes.
• Build/test AI-enabled tools and dashboards to save time in research and reporting.
• Assist day-to-day partner operations: tracking programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare briefing materials and analyses for leadership.
• Document workflows with runbooks to ensure transferability after the term.
• Collaborate with Directors to identify high-leverage tasks to automate next.
