Job summary

Marshall Wace seeks a self-motivated undergraduate senior for the Operations Internship – Summer 2027 in New York. You will join the Global Operations team in a tech-driven investment environment, gaining exposure to automation and data-driven processes.

Over 10 weeks you will work on trade processing, settlement, and data management, using Python and SQL to analyze data, support automation, and collaborate with Trading, Risk, Treasury and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, CS, Math or Engineering.
• Minimum GPA 3.5.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time-management and proactive teamwork.
• Interest in financial markets, data-driven and AI-enabled improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Global Operations team across markets and asset classes.
• Support trade processing, settlement, data management and compliance.
• Analyze data with Python/SQL to enable automation and AI initiatives.
• Identify workflow improvements and implement changes.
• Engage with Trading, Investment Analysis, Risk, Treasury, and Compliance.
• Attend seminars hosted by prime brokerage counterparts.
