Job summary

Dentons US LLP is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable AI-powered workflows and integrations for legal and business operations across multiple U.S. offices.

You will work closely with attorneys, practice groups, and business teams to translate operational needs into practical solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI services, and Microsoft 365. The role combines software development excellence with governance and privacy awareness,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Git, CI/CD, APIs, data structures, and SDLC practices.
• Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Graph API.
• Familiarity with Azure AI services and prompt engineering.
• Understanding AI governance, data privacy, and security in legal environments.
• Builder mindset with ability to evaluate multiple LLM ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with multiple AI development tools for coding assistance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain AI-augmented workflows and integrations.
• Prototype secure generative AI solutions for legal and admin use cases.
• Modernize Power Apps and SharePoint solutions with AI-native automation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop production-quality code, APIs, tests, and deployment processes.
• Ensure confidentiality, privacy, security, and governance requirements.
• Train staff in adopting new AI tools and document practical guidance.
• Monitor AI landscape, evaluate tools, measure business impact.
