Job summary

Dentons US LLP is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable AI-powered workflows that enhance legal and business operations. You will work with attorneys and business teams to translate needs into practical solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI services.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience beyond low-code/no-code platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, APIs, data structures, integration patterns, and SDLC practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Graph API integrations.
• Familiarity with Azure AI services and prompt engineering for retrieval-augmented generation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain AI-augmented workflows, agents, Copilot extensions, plugins, and integrations.
• Evaluate and prototype secure generative AI solutions for legal and administrative use cases.
• Maintain and modernize Power Apps and SharePoint solutions with AI-native automation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and proofs of concept.
• Develop production-quality code, APIs, integrations, tests, and deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance requirements for legal practice.
• Train staff in adopting new AI tools and workflows with clear documentation.
• Monitor AI landscape and measure business impact of implementations.
• Handle additional duties to meet role needs.
