Job summary

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP seeks an AI Workflow & Skills Engineer to build AI-powered tools and workflows that reshape legal work. You will partner with the AI Enablement Manager and cross-functional teams to design, test, deploy, and continuously improve AI solutions that drive productivity and business value.

The role emphasizes translating attorney workflows into practical AI applications, delivering production-ready solutions, and supporting adoption through training and governance

Qualifications

• Experience building and optimizing AI-powered solutions using Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or similar LLM-based platforms including prompt engineering and agent/tool configuration.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Familiarity with legal workflows and legal technology.
• Experience with APIs, automation tools, and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) to connect AI solutions with business systems and workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent AI development efforts and communicate timelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate attorney workflows and business needs into AI-powered tools, automations, and solutions.
• Build, test, and iterate on AI skills and agents using Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot and related frameworks.
• Integrate AI tools with the firm's technology ecosystem across SharePoint, document management, email/calendaring, and e-signature.
• Develop reusable prompt libraries, templates, and scalable components for broad adoption.
• Ensure production readiness through testing, validation, and quality reviews focusing on accuracy and responsible AI use.
• Partner with IT, Information Security, and Risk/Compliance to safeguard client information and comply with policies.
• Create documentation and implementation guidance to support user adoption and maintenance.
• Assist attorneys and staff in adopting AI technologies through training and support.
• Manage a portfolio of AI initiatives aligned with firm goals; monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
