Job summary

RiverSource Life Insurance Company is seeking a high‑performing Business Systems Analyst II with a strong focus on AI and automation. This hybrid Minneapolis role partners with business, technology and analytics teams to deliver scalable AI solutions and drive process improvements.

You will lead discovery, shape solutions, document requirements, test plans, and coordinate UAT, translating data into actionable insights for senior leaders. Four‑day in-office, one‑day remote work per week.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience leading discovery and solutioning for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate opportunities using data and insights.
• Experience working with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• AI & Automation Discovery: identify opportunities and translate problems into clear requirements and solution concepts.
• Business Analysis & Solution Delivery: develop requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and support testing.
• Data Analytics & Storytelling: analyze data to size opportunities and create executive narratives.
• Senior Leader Engagement: present recommendations and influence decisions with structured thinking.
