Job summary
RiverSource Life Insurance Company in Minneapolis is seeking a Business Analyst II to advance operational excellence, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities within Insurance New Business and Underwriting. You will partner across business, technology, data, risk, and leadership teams to translate priorities into scalable solutions.
You will structure ambiguous problems, analyze data for insights, build dashboards, and support automation projects and governance around AI/ML
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, reporting, or related transformation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, MIS, math, economics, data science or CS.
- Experience with BI/data visualization tools and analytical platforms is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead business analysis activities: requirements, design, testing, and adoption planning.
- Structure ambiguous problems and prioritize work based on value, feasibility, risk, and capacity.
- Analyze data to identify trends, support decision-making, and develop insights.
- Develop dashboards and executive-ready reporting to improve visibility and outcomes.
- Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with tech and business teams.
- Support AI/ML initiatives with governance, testing, and adoption activities.
