Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking an experienced Audit Lead to oversee audits of AI governance, Responsible AI, and risk management frameworks. You will assess biases, explainability, privacy and regulatory compliance while delivering actionable insights to senior management.

You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to shape the AI audit program, manage resources, and ensure independence and high-quality assurance across enterprise AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant audit experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.
• Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert.
• Influence skills - In-depth / Expert.
• Able to manage ambiguity.
• Data driven decision making - In-depth / Expert.
• Professional designations such as CIA, CISA, CPA or CRISC

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute AI audits focused on Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-enabled processes.
• Assess governance, risk management and controls with oversight and monitoring.
• Provide independent assurance to leadership and the Board.
• Develop annual audit plan aligned to client strategies and risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to inform decisions and ensure alignment.
• Maintain independence and develop team capabilities.
