Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Director of Enterprise AI Platform Engineering in the U.S. to own the core infrastructure that governs and enforces how AI runs at BMO.

This build-and-run leadership role will guide a team delivering the AI Gateway, Policy Engine, Identity Fabric, AI Registry, Guardrails Runtime, and Observability, enabling secure, compliant, and observable enterprise AI workloads. Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical platform or AI/ML engineering in a large enterprise.
• 4+ years leading and managing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the enterprise control plane and AI platform governance.
• Lead the build-and-run team to deliver scalable, policy-driven infrastructure.
• Partner with Security, Architecture, and DevOps to ensure regulatory defensibility.
