Job summary

Optum Insight, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks an innovative analytics leader to steer AI strategy across the Advisory practice. You will drive AI adoption, lead modeling and governance, and partner with clinical and business experts to deliver scalable AI-enabled analytics for value-based healthcare programs.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with in-office requirements in Minneapolis/Washington DC as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying quantitative methods to business problems.
• 5+ years developing and deploying analytics, predictive modeling, or ML in consulting or business.
• 3+ years designing AI-enabled solutions.
• 3+ years deploying AI solutions on Databricks/Snowflake/Azure at scale.
• 3+ years in large data warehouses and analyzing large data sets.
• 3+ years aligning data into common structures for models.
• 3+ years developing, evaluating, and monitoring predictive models.
• 3+ years supporting AI solution development and governance.
• 2+ years with responsible AI or model risk
• 2+ years Snowflake/Databricks/Azure experience

Responsibilities

• Define and drive AI adoption roadmap with practice leadership.
• Lead AI integration across analytics service delivery for healthcare.
• Oversee AI development from concept to deployment with governance.
• Lead Responsible AI reviews and governance approvals.
• Identify emerging AI tech and market trends for client solutions.
• Prototype generative AI, LLMs, and ML within value-based care.
• Design and implement predictive analytic models across populations.
• Collaborate with clinical and business SMEs on AI solutions.
• Translate AI capabilities into scalable analytics products and dashboards.
• Deliver insights through AI-enabled analytics to stakeholders.
