Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking an AI and Analytics Specialist to join the Workforce Benefits team in Newport Beach, CA, or Charlotte, NC. You will design and implement AI/analytics solutions to improve efficiency, customer experience, and business growth.

You will collaborate with business, technology, data, and risk teams to bring AI opportunities from concept to production and value realization, while maintaining responsible AI practices and governance.

Qualifications

3+ years of AI/analytics experience delivering production solutions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience with enterprise AI platforms and large language models.
Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG, knowledge extraction, evaluation frameworks, AI agents, and workflow automation.
Strong Python skills and experience with ML, analytics, APIs, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of AI and analytics solutions across Workforce Benefits.
Develop and deploy generative AI, ML, and analytics capabilities.
Partner with business leaders and technology teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
Own initiatives from proof of concept through production deployment, governance, and value realization.
Deliver actionable insights, dashboards, and recommendations with responsible AI practices.
