Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks an AI & Analytics leader for the Risk Adjustment-focused team within Growth. You will bridge business needs of IFP, Actuarial, HQA, Network Ops and Finance, translating complex problems into structured analytics and tools to drive CoHC optimization and member growth.

The role is hybrid, balancing in-office collaboration with flexible scheduling to support cross-functional and regulatory reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or higher; 4 years in lieu of degree acceptable.
• 7 years' healthcare analytics experience (cost, quality, utilization, outcomes).
• 5+ years with complex Medical Claims, Membership, Provider data architectures.
• Advanced SQL & Python; SAS; cloud data stacks for automation.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and enterprise CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• As AI & Analytics partner to IFP and cross-functional leaders.
• Translate business problems into structured analytical approaches.
• Design analytical tools and leverage data for growth opportunities.
• Support Covered CA regulatory reporting and member growth efforts.
• Collaborate in a two-in-a-box model to align with LOB goals.
