Job summary

Pacific Life in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Director of Marketing Analytics & AI Transformation. You will lead a 6-person team within the CMD Marketing organization, partnering with marketing leaders to drive high-impact AI-enabled analytics and agent workflows that improve performance and customer insights.

You will translate business goals into analytic requirements, manage pilots, and guide adoption with governance to maximize impact across marketing channels and the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in marketing analytics, marketing tech, AI/ML or related fields in financial services.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of enterprise marketing workflows and metrics (CRM, paid media, funnels, attribution).
• Ability to decompose marketing processes into automatable tasks and analytics problems.
• Strong communication skills and comfort operating in ambiguity with a product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to identify repeatable analytic and AI workflows that can be automated.
• Translate goals into agent tasks, requirements, tools, and success metrics.
• Design and evaluate analytic frameworks to analyze campaign performance and identify tests.
• Drive adoption of AI/analytics, facilitate pilots, and iterate with feedback from marketers.
• Set governance and standards for marketing AI agents and analytics usage.
